The connection between extension and measurement is investigated in line with this constructivist program. 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

A Real-time Motion Tracking Wireless System for Upper Limb Exosuit Based on Inertial Measurement Units and Flex Sensors (TECHNICAL NOTE)
This paper puts forward a real-time angular tracking (motion capture) system for a low cost upper limb exosuit based on sensor fusion; which is integrated by an elastic sleeve-mitten, two inertial measurement units (IMU), two flex sensors and a wireless communication system. The device can accurately detect the angular position of the shoulder (flexion-extension, abduction-adduction and interna...
متن کاملGrassmann’s Vision
Hermann Grassmann is cast as a pivotal figure in the historical development of a universal geometric calculus for mathematics and physics which continues to this day. He formulated most of the basic ideas and, to a remarkable extent, anticipates later developments. His influence is far more potent and pervasive than generally recognized. After nearly a century on the brink of obscurity, Hermann...

This study aimed to raise the effectiveness of On-the-Job Training Program for teachers. It was done by using quasi experimental method. To measure variables pretest –posttest design with control group was used. The population consisted of On-the-Job Training courses for teachers from Lamerd town which were held in 2012. By using convenience sampeling method 3 samples were selected which were r...
متن کاملGeometric Algebra – Leibnitz’ Dream
1. Historical Developments About 150 years ago, in 1844, the German high school teacher Hermann Grassmann published an ambitious work entitled The Linear Extension Theory, A New Branch of Mathematics. For Grassmann this was indeed The Branch of mathematics, which in his own words “far surpasses” all others. His subsequent work Geometric Algebra won the prize of 45 gold ducats set out by the Pri...
متن کاملOn universal central extensions of Hom-Leibniz algebras
In the category of Hom-Leibniz algebras we introduce the notion of Hom-corepresentation as adequate coefficients to construct the chain complex from which we compute the Leibniz homology of Hom-Leibniz algebras. We study universal central extensions of Hom-Leibniz algebras and generalize some classical results, nevertheless it is necessary to introduce new notions of α-central extension, univer...
